OK, who here is from Hobbs, NM???

Hey, I see in my stats that somebody from Hobbs visits here fairly regularly. The curiosity is killing me! Who's from Hobbs??? Say howdy, will ya? And have a cup of coffee at the North 40 for me, too, please. :-)

OK, back to regular blogging.

ROFL! Gee, thanks, Melissa! It's just that Zorak spent most of his life in Lea County - and that's where James was born. But Hobbs, although it's "the city" in that county, is one of those small towns where, when you call customer service reps, they want to know what the nearest town is. It's really, really small.

I'm, um, not desperate... really... *twitch, twitch* ;-)

Wow! I'm just impressed that your site meter gives you that kind of data! That's pretty accurate. :)

Mine just says, "United States" or "Australia." Sometimes I can figure out from their ISP where they are, but not always.

My stats are only accurate for some IP systems. I use a sat server so my IP comes up saying I'm various points on the eastern seaboard, when I am in fact on the Oregon Coast. Go figure.

I don't know if you'll see this since it's from 2006. I just started reading your blog, and I'm loving reading about all your adventures! I'm in Midland,TX, which is a couple of hrs east of Hobbs. I saw in a previous post that you mentioned West Texas. Where in West Texas are you from?
