A tulip?

You tell me. I have no clue.

Other than that, school, composting, books (oh, I've GOT to blog about the books!), ball practice. Pictures Thursday. John gets to wear his whole uniform. He thinks it's almost as good as Christmas.

Kiss those babies!

Yes, a tulip. (I was so tempted to say "some kind of flower," but I actually knew this one.)

I just read your previous post. Tulips come in millions of shapes and sizes, so while I can see how the starry shape threw you off, it's just one of the fancy hybrids.

Hope Zorak is better!

It IS? Really? SWEET!! I have tulips. Or, rather, A tulip. But it's so pretty, all by itself, down by that big ol' oak tree.

I just did some research and it looks like it's just a garden tulip. I didn't know there were 15 varieties of tulips! WOW!

Anyway, I did find out if you want to paint a picture of them it WILL sell. ;-)

A beautiful tulip! And don't forget that these things will multiply themselves, so, look around, you may find more! (Excited squeal!)

And PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE post a picture of John in his uniform!!! Jack starts practice tonight....so...we'll see how the coach is...and the team and everything.

That is a very pretty tulip. I love all my "surprise" bulbs (particularly since the bulbs I planted didn't come up!).
I want to start a compost pile too. Any tips?

Yes, a tulip. And squirrels will dig up the bulbs and eat them, so you probably had lots of them at one time...

Tulips are my favorite flowers, though I can't recognize any except for the normal tulip shaped ones. :) That one is very pretty.
