The week in pictures

Here's the proud boy with his first loaf of bread.

Miss Emily loves rice sticks and stiry fry!

Balto, head of QA for flooring installation...

And here, the boys are enjoying the spacious new layout. We threw the futon down on the floor for TV watching, and can stash it in the guest room when we're done. (Yeah, only one of them is actually watching TV. Seems the pad also makes a great wrestling mat and GP play area.)

Oh, and we don't usually live with newspapers and boxes piled around the living area. The overall clutter in the background is from the Blue Willow, which I was unpacking from storage when I snapped the picture! WOOHOO!

And Balto, ever so patiently letting Miss Emily play with his tail. I've got to try to get actual video of this, it's hilarious.

And that's pretty much been our week - laughing, learning, enjoying.

Kiss those babies!

Awesome job on the bread! Yummm!

Our kids play on a futon mattress at my mom's - they love it. I should get several to pad the living room here. Ella is a confirmed climber. Add that to her *I must do all that my brothers do* ideas and ... eeek!

Emily is a cutie pie, and what a good natured dog Balto must be. Our Teddy is extraordinarily gentle, too.

I LOVE it when you post pictures!! Everyone looks so happy! What a perfect loaf of bread made by that handsome young man. The kids are all so precious. And Balto looks like a GREAT dog. (BTW, we read The Starnge DOg chapter last night, and had the smae eery appreciation for our loyal, protective dogs!)

Doesn't Emily pull dads beard? LoL
That picture of Balto is hilarious, it looks like he has the hammer in his mouth! My dog is currently going NUTS for the mice in the snakes cage...lol

BTW, can I tell you how AWESOME your pictures look with a beautiful floor in the background? So cool!

Love you!

Aargh! I've been checking your blog DAILY, and it hasn't been refreshing properly. Everyday, the post titled "Weird" has been on top. You know, the one where you talked about having computer problems?? *sigh*

I see Zorak has the beard thing going on, too. :) Must be the homeschooling dad winter look.

The pics are great, and Miss Emily is so very cute. :) Well, they all are, but I can't resist giggling babies.

And that is a GREAT looking loaf of bread.

What a delicious looking loaf of bread! Yum, yum, yum. Wonder if he can give me some tips?

Emily is so precious and what a little cutie Balto is. About the video, if you do get some footage, make sure you share it with us. I'd love to hear her giggling!

I haven't commented on the flooring yet but Wow! That is gorgeous. I love the pattern and that it's so light in color. We've been talking about sanding our floors down and refinishing them. It's really beginning to show the wear and tear from these 3 youngins and Big Dog. I told my husband to look at is as character and memories in the making. :-P

The futon looks like fun. We have nights when we pull out the air mattress and sleep in the living room. We watch movies, eat popcorn, read books and play. The littles always look forward to it.

I had to laugh at Miss Emily's look of laughter and delight. What a great lookin' family! Ask James if he'd share a slice of bread if I asked real nice. :)
Happy Thanksgiving!
