He grabbed the camera!

Without further ado, here are some shots from the Forever Home!

The fun part of having such a long driveway is that you can ride in the back of the pickup to check the mail!
Ta-Da! Here we are, officially recognized by the US Postal Service! (Great job, guys!) The rocks in the wagon are now decoratively piled around the base of the post.
It took Smidge a bit to catch his breath at the bottom and answer when I asked if that was fun. I caught this shot just as he was breathily saying, "YES!"
This is for Donna. It is what passersby see from the road. With the leaves dropping considerably, you can *almost* see the house (but not quite). All that's really visible is one of the meadows, the barn, and our pickup. I tried to catch the sunlight before it left the treetops, but the boys had my attention up to this point.

And now, I really must get some rest. Thanks for stopping by the Front Porch.

How peaceful!! It all looks so nice.
The boys are so cute and getting so big! And you look AWESOME!! I am always jealous of people who do not get "fat-face" when they are pregnant. I swear I carry babies in my cheeks and butt :)

I too am jealous since it's been 6 months and I still haven't lost my weight... yet here you are looking better than me!

BTW, I am blogging again so now you can stop by and say "hi" with your high speed internet.

You all look so GREAT and so HAPPY...well except the headless guy in the wagon. He looks kinda....headless. What a wonderful time (even though sooooo much work!) for all of you.

Gretchen, *evil grin* I know you can't see the house, but that was kind of the point. I'm not ready to show the house yet (besides, the other toilet is still on the front porch - it wouldn't make what you'd call an insipiring image...) We have a little over six acres. We wanted 20 or more, but this six is more Magical than 20 in an old, flat cotton field would be. When you're little, (or a Little Guy of any age), the Magic is more important.

Patty - ROFL @ the headless guy. That's funny. Zorak actually took the wagon down by himself first, to make sure he could steer it and not go flying over the culvert. Didn't phase the other two to see Daddy sailing down the hill, but Smidge shrieked and pointed and laughed SO HARD.

And guys, ok, let me point out - true, my face hasn't puffed up this pregnancy. But my ankles? Yeah, they're the same size as my THIGHS. I'm like those sand-filled punching bags right now - with all that weight and size at the bottom, I just don't fall all the way over, I wobble. Feel better? ;-) Oh, and you can't see it in the pic, but I've got a *lovely* pregnancy mask going on. I told John I was saving up to be Zorro next year for Halloween. Feeling great, though, and thankful for that. I've never been this pregnant in temps under 100' before - it's somewhat refreshing!
