I must know immediately what is on James' head. Because it looks an awful lot like the fedora John will NOT. TAKE. OFF. EVER. or until the Indiana Jones fever wears off...
Love the pic of the son in the leaves! My younger children covered their youngest nieces in oak hydrangea leaves, and I posted it. This lush foliage after over 2 years of drought is wonderful!
Dy! Is that Cardinals t-shirt a St. Louis Cardinals shirt? If it is, I knew I liked you for a reason. If it's a t-shirt from some other team that has the Cardinal as a mascot, well, I like you anyway.
What lovely pictures! I so want to be at that little store. Farm market? Country store? Very evocative, and so sweet to see your "Nice Lady" and the wee ones making memories.
Andie, that's... um... I'd love to say it's a manly fedora. But it's not. It's... *sigh* a purple velvety Hanna Andersson floppy hat... it's quite a lovely hat, and would look beautiful on Em, but no. It came in some play clothes LB sent a couple years ago, and evidently it spoke to James... yup... :-D
Melissa, LB puts him down "as little as possible". But he does get heavy when you're walking. And, he farts. It's good to use the wagon when you're walking downwind.
Marci, thanks. They are so much fun to play with.
Laura, I *loved* your pictures of the lake from a few weeks back. It's so-so-soooo good to have water again!
Staci, that's Smidge's team this season. They're the Cardinals. It was his St. Louis cap in the other photo, too. And boy, does he *love* being a Cardinal! ;-)
Pamela, I am so enjoying and appreciating your sweet comments while we have LB here. She's a joy, isn't she? Thank you for visiting.

O.K., one question. How is it that y'all were actually able to put the baby down? He is just SO precious!
