Random Thoughts

- We got the game schedules for two of the boys... and in spite of how much I've enjoyed *not* running around, I am really looking forward to making it to their games.

- Six o'clock is way too early to have to be on the road for an 8:30 appointment... but it's worth it for a good pediatrician.

- I keep getting spam in my inbox, offering me "guaranteed quantities of viagra"... Considering we've had five children in nine years, is this really a concern for us?

- You might be tempted to argue with Mom's counting... But you really can't argue with a metronome.

- I *heart* the metronome!

- There is nothing cuter than a four-year-old in his first baseball uniform... except, perhaps, pictures of a four-year-old in his first baseball uniform. But I was too busy oogling him and squeezing him and watching him beam with pride. Sorry.

- Waiting to see if your fifth child is going to be the fifth one to have colick, too, is like waiting for the other shoe to drop... when you wear anvils for shoes.

- Good friends... are really good.

- Nice weather... is always appreciated.

-

- It's a good life.

Kiss those babies!

Oh Dy,
He is just the sweetest little baby in the whole wide world. I am already in love.
I heart the metronome too- E doesn't have one right now (I love the girl, but she loses more things than anyone I have ever met, 'cept maybe her mother.), and it's tough.
Talk soon, and sending hugs,
LB

I love the cows behind the baseball field. I might be persuaded to do the baseball thing if there were cows in the background. Eh, who am I kidding? I'm easily persuaded if it's something my kids want to do.

Have you tried Hiland's colic tablets? He sure looks peaceful in this photo. I only had one colicky baby, but it felt like five of them at once.

BTW, Danny is home and he says the two Columbia shirts were the only two to pack well. You know, the two that didn't need to be ironed. I knew I should have gone to Gander Mountain or Sportsman's Warehouse for his new shirts. Stupid, stupid, stupid.

And I forgive you for muttering nasty things under your breath while reading Steinbeck. I don't agree with him on everything, but he seems to have wondered about things in the same way I do. Maybe I am a little bit of a socialist? Nah, I don't think so:o)

On a completely different subject, I get those spam mails too, I never knew there were so many different ways to colorfully describe the male anatomy - I actually look forward to those mails, they make me giggle.
