Photos!

I spent the last part of this evening uploading photos, which has left me sans mental reserves to think up something creative. Or even mildly interesting. So, while these aren't Home Renovation Photos, they are Photos. I hope that counts. :-)

This is what the bigger two boys looked like during most of our time in Florida:

I'm not sure what was being said, but it doesn't look like she thought it was as funny as he did...

Once you can sit up on your own, the world is yours to enjoy!

John wasn't so sure about the zip line...

Neither was James...

But they went for it!

In that last photo, did you capture a shot of the man in the yellow shirt as he was falling out of the tree? Or did he ride down with the boys upside-down?

The photos are great! Miss Emily looks like James, I think. :)

So glad you had a great time!

The pictures are wonderful! Thanks so much for letting us catch up with you. I'm so glad to have met such a nice family. I have a couple of pics too, just wanted to see if it was okay to post them.

Great pictures! Emily is just so cute! Where was the zipline--did I miss that? Nathan got to ride one this summer at his little camp thing, and he had a blast on it too.

The zipline is part of the exhibit and tour at Dinosaur Adventure Land. Even with the two larger buildings closed to the public over the pending legal issues, it's worth a stop in to explore. We were there a good two hours and did not get to see everything. The folks at DAL have put a lot into it, and the kids who volunteer there - like the upside down one on the zipline - are enthusiastic and helpful. He rode down with the boys because their wee bodies don't weigh enough for them to reach the ground when it stops. I think they also felt better knowing that he didn't let go. (The fact that he was soaring along, not attached to anything but their seats didn't dawn on them until later, when they looked at the pictures.)

He also took the boys under his wing to do the electricity experiments so that I could step outside with a less-than-thrilled Miss Emily after one demonstration with the Tesla coil. (Oops.)

They are so cute, Dy. :) I can't believe how big Miss Emily is already. We must be on the same wavelength because I've got photos I want to post this week, too.

BTW, Roscoe is talking about buying an old farmhouse that we can fix up when we move. Quote from me: "I'm no Dy. And you're no Zorak." Roscoe: "This is true." :}

Very cool zipline. I, too, wondered about the upside down guy, so thanks for explaining that one!

I was looking at these pics earlier today with Sarah Jane on my lap and she started cooing at the picture of Emily in the swing. She's darling, just like her brothers! It looks like you all had so much fun. Thanks for sharing.
