Going Underground

Nah, not a revolution. Not yet, anyway. We're just getting ready to get started on the wedding cake. So, I'll be out of touch for a couple of days. Will resurface when I can. (But it's okay - Zorak knows where I am. *grin*)

Have an absolutely fantastic week, everybody. Love on those little guys, and enjoy all the lovin's they have to give back!

Kiss those babies,
Dy

Oh. I thought the "going underground" reference was to renting a trencher. I am *so* looking forward to hearing that you've cut off your theivin' neighbors and laid new pipe!

Have fun with the cake! Will you post pictures?

Sounds like fun - I haven't done a wedding cake in ages. They're pretty stressful at the time, but it's sure nice to look at when they're done. Are they going to make you cut it too? I always hate that part.

:-) We tried to go "underground" in that way, but we killed the heavy equipment. :-S Erk. We'll try again next payday... or sometime soon.

Yes, I'll post pictures. Yes, we made it. It was our first. I feel so badly for Taryn that she got our first wedding cake. God bless her, she was The World's Best Bride. Oh, my, what a weekend.

And, thankfully, I didn't end up anywhere in the pictures, b/c we didn't have time to get dressed before running the cake to the reception hall. Zorak did make me wash the green icing off my forehead, but that was all the primping that got done. I like it behind the scenes - far less actual grooming required. Just keep your hair back and your hands clean. That, I can do. :-)
