You know that sensation of dread when you're drinking a liquid... a pure liquid with nothing in it but liquid, not pureed or anything like that... and something sort of solid brushes past your lip on its way into your mouth...
I hate that.
Gotta love having a one year old.
And no, I didn't bother to see what it was, just spit, gag and dump. I don't want to know!
Kiss those babies (and check your cup if they'd been near it!)

Yep, hubby calls it *backwash* LOL! ;-)
I make homemade hot chocolate for me most days for read aloud time. I make it with powdered cocoa and stevia. Sometimes it's a little lumpy. Usually it's the cocoa.
Usually I don't worry about the lumps. I just take the few floaters as a sign of my ability to not get all worked up about making *the perfect* cup of hot cocoa. You know, letting go of not doing everything perfectly.
However ... just the other day I had a lump in my mouth and decided to check on it to be sure it was cocoa. It wasn't.
It was a nasty house fly!!!
I'm getting all grossed out just remembering it. YUCK!

I'm going to "Ewww" right along with you. My dd had something like happen to her, and it was all we could do to keep her from gagging.
Yes, Craig is so bad at backwashing that even the KIDS won't drink after him, even if it means he gets soda while they get water or milk...LOL And if the kids and I go out for a treat to Taco Bell or something we split a giant drink and Craig gets his OWN small one. Hmmmm maybe he does it on purpose! LOL
