Happy Father's Day!

The cake tasted delicious. Fortunately, you cannot taste "concave".

The carrots, while wholly experimental, were a big hit, too.

Mostly with the boys. But that's good. Happy is the Daddy who knows his children are loved as well as he is.

Kiss those babies, and Daddies, and anybody else who needs a little extra love today!

All my dh got was clean sheets. Sigh. Well, he is better off than the queen of England; she just FLIPS hers. I'm with Jackie O on this one--change them three times a day, slave. (When I get a slave, that is.)

Beautiful cake! Those carrots look scrumptious.
When my mom and I are together on my birthday, she always makes me a carrot cake. It is my favorite.

You MADE that cake?! I'm so impressed! We love carrot cake and apple cake, but I've never made them look pretty!

Beautiful!! I love those carrots, they turned out perfectly. This can't be the cake you were describing in the post below! You are quite a hand with the frosting, if it is! *grin*

Ok,those carrots are just too cute. My family has eaten their share of more-frosting-than-cake cakes. It's amazing what an extra 2 cups of frosting can do.

Based on the previous post, I was imagining something really, um...not so pretty.
That looks wonderful, Dy!

Yeah, I imagined some sort of cake-in-pieces distaster too, which is not at all what yours looks like. Umm, has anyone ever told you maybe your expectations are too high for yourself? LOL!!! I love the carrots--they look like something from a store! Zorak is a very lucky man indeed, and I'm sure he knows how well-loved he is!

Wow! She homeschools AND makes beautiful cakes! ;)

I loved your comment, "Happy is the Daddy who knows his children are loved as well as he is."

I once read something that said that all men want one of three things. One of those things was to know their children are well-mothered. I have always found that so interesting.

Zorak is a lucky man!
