Boats and Boys

The boys made miniature catamarans today...

...and sailed them across the makeshift "sea" in the front yard.

What a great way to blow five hours on a Sunday afternoon!

Kiss those babies!

Thank you for your prayers for my family, Dy. It is much appreciated. :-)
Your boys are quite handsome. And this looks like a great Sunday afternoon project.

Thanks. It was fun. Zorak comes up with the best ideas using scraps - he's like the MacGuyver of Daddyhood. Very cool stuff.

That's neat - and what a great memory for the whole family! (Love the trees in your yard.)

I love the boats, what a wonderful Sunday.:-)

Looks like fun, and it also looks like Smidge healed with the resiliency of youth! No bandages, even?
Zorak Is a good daddy! What great memories you all are building.

Not catamaran-related, but i have to ask..

How did the lovely Jane Seymour not come up in your celebrity lookalike results? Every time I see a photo of you I think, "oohhhhh. She looks so much like Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman!"

The women who *did* come up on yours are good company, though. Me, I closely resemble the MALE Prime Minister of the Netherlands.

Hillary :)

Uh, Hillary, I still don't see that, but I love you forever for saying it! I don't have the fine, Victorian bone structure to resemble her, though. Some people might say the Prime Minister of the Netherlands is an attractive person! But, joking aside, I've seen pictures, and I *know* you look nothing like him - you're much prettier! Trust me.

Melora, nope, no bandages. Just a long chunk of stiff hair on the top, where there's glue. If you look in the last photo, you can see that the entire right side of his forehead is enlarged, from the eyebrow up past the hairline. The hair falls to the side b/c of the lump. The bruising and scabbing didn't show in the photo, though, not sure why.

Laura, we love the trees, too. It was actually the trees that did it for us. We had passed up looking at this place for three months b/c there wasn't as much land as we had hoped to buy. Finally, in desperation, we looked at it and WOW, we were h-o-m-e. :-)
