The boys found a little nest a while back. It had two little babies in it - we honestly had no idea what they were. But they were so ugly they were cute. We checked on them every day or so, until...
They got hair! And suddenly, they were Significantly more recognizable!
The ultimate pet - Free-Range Bunnies. Cute, fun, cheap (although we've got to fence in the garden...), and educational!

Baby bunnies are ugly, aren't they? I call them "little rat bunnies". ;-)
Can you hear the collective "awwwwww!" coming from my house? We were suckered into buying a half grown rabbit for the boys. By the time we got him, he was already so wild we couldn't get close enough to touch him, let alone hold him. Baby bunnies are most definitely the way to go. Any names for them yet? The boys named ours Coco (b/c he's white like the inside of a coconut, but sometimes they call him Zeus?).
