Beautiful, cold, wet snow! There wasn't much, but that didn't stop the kids from enjoying it:
Snow angels:
Kind of...
Snow gnomes:
(You have to look close to find him...)
Even snow pellet fights. (No pictures of those -- we didn't want to risk getting hit.)
Walking in a winter wonderland. In March. Go figure.
But it was such a treat. The kids had given up on having any snow at all this year. They played until there was absolutely no snow left, at all. The snowman on the balcony melted enough to lean back and fall to an early, fairly warm demise.
And then, it was time to come in for hot chocolate.
Good stuff, and a truly delightful surprise!
Kiss those babies!

Goodness, I think you've swapped climate with us. We've had so little snow this winter that the new gloves haven't even managed to get lost yet!
Wow, I'm sooo glad you got to enjoy my Mom over these last two weeks, but all the same, I'm even more glad I get to see her in person again tonight! Thanks for giving her one of the best birthday vacations anyone could ask for!
Hugs!

Wasn't that great? And I love your snowman! Our snow was too "dry" to stick into balls, though it was great for sliding down.
What lovely pictures. Your winter wonderland is so scenic. Love those trees!
What a sweet shot of your Em and her chocolate:)
Keep making those memories, and thanks for sharing.

There's global warming for ya! ;-D
Yay! What fun for the kiddos. I know that we love it when we see snow in the mountains near us. Sadly this year, no sledding for us. But at least we got to see it!
Although the kiddos did get to sled at White Sands national monument, is that sort of the same? Sledding on bisquick-y type sand?
