All's well. Baby5 is measuring just fine @ 18 - 1/2 weeks. I've gained seven pounds so far. Heartbeat is strong and regular. And if you're the technical type, the UA came back clean. ;-)
We have a number to call for an OB who will do an ultrasound. She'd like us to go in sometime this month. I can't believe it's *that* far along, already. Wow. Time really does fly when... well, when you have a lot of kids and don't keep your wall calendar up to date.
Kiss those babies!

LOL! "For those who worry?"
That'd be me, right? :)
I'm glad to hear baby's doing well!

I can't believe you are that far along either! Time is flying for you, yet for some reason, it's ticking slowly by up here in IL. :-/ I'm almost out of the 1st trimester....
Yay for a healthy baby! And wow, good for you for only gaining 7 lbs so far! Usually by the time I get to 18ish weeks I'm about twice that!
maybe it's a later baby thing - with John I only gained 14 pounds total. certainly wasnt the norm ( 38, 52,42)
I figure we're just busier when you already have lots of monkeys running around!
Shannon
LOL, Hillary. You, and the IL's. :-)
Hang in there, momanna! Remember, I had a head start. ;-) It's a'comin! You'll be hitting that seven-month stretch before you know it! (And hey, at least we aren't out-to-here in AUGUST, right? *hugs*)
Emily, no, no, no, please don't say "only 7 pounds". Seven pounds is fine! I spent the majority of October fending off relatives who kept pointing out that I was "awfully thin", inquiring about my health, asking Zorak if I was okay, trying to make me eat twice what a pregnant stomach can hold in one sitting. I was trying to point out, "Look! I'm gaining! I'm fine!"
Funny, though - the first comment from the family caught me off guard. But after several folks had said something, I realized that my IL's have known me for 12 years. For TEN of those years, solid, I've been either pregnant or post-partum. And usually, they've seen me near the transition point of pregnant-to-post-partum. SO, it's been a full decade since they've seen me at my pre-pre-pre-pre-pregnancy weight. No *wonder* they thought I looked too skinny! They're used to the nursing, post-partum, weeble-shaped Dy. LOL! (I can laugh, now. There were a few days, though, where I kept cornering Zorak and grilling him, "Are you SURE I'm okay? I mean, if I have one of *those* problems, then I probably wouldn't know it. You'd tell me, wouldn't you? WOULDN'T YOU???" He says I'm fine, I look fine, I eat like a horse, and to calm the hell down. So I did. But I still laugh over it. And I'm so glad I have family who love me. :-)
Shannon, yes. I gained the most w/ Smidge - almost 60#. But I wasn't active at all that pregnancy. I gained a bit with Em, but not nearly as much b/c I was *so* active that pregnancy. Busy, busy with those monkeys! Yes!!

How fabulous Dy! I was measuring big, so I had two ultrasounds in the last month. Very unusual for my doctor. I am currently 22 weeks. Last week when I was in for my last ultrasound the baby already weighed a pound and I have only gained five due to all of my sickness.
I am so glad to hear everything is going well for you. If only I could find a midwife in my area. Many of them have left the state due to malpractice issues. I just found out from my OB that the pediatricians on staff at the hospital will take blood from the baby when it is born for an HIV test, since I opted out of it this time. He said they will do it without parental consent. I am just floored, so I am now exploring other options, including going back and taking the test if I cannot find a midwife to deliver at home. So if you know of anyone in the Central Florida area, let me know.
Blessings,
Stephanie in FL (WTM boards)
I'm glad everything went well at your checkup! It always seems to me that other people's pregnancies fly by, while each of mine dragged on for several years.
well there ya go - i caught myself lying. scott was 58 pounds. sigh. right there with ya with smidge's almost 60 pounds

You're pregnant? Yea for you! I had no idea. I was just noticing the other day how big your older children were getting!

Well, I wasn't too worried, but I didn't realize babylove was almost half-baked! Melora is right- it goes by so much faster when it is someone else's mid-section that is expanding!
Hugs,

Oh, I'm glad to hear it. I have to say the Aunties comments had me a little worried.
Eat something anyway.
;-)
I owe you an email. I'm trying. These kids and these houses and that #@!**$#!@@@!!! realtor... And then I get Halloween thrown at me.
Perhaps you're right -- one wall calendar says September, another November (that was in a misplaced burst of productivity the other day- tore 2 months off). If I had the correct month up, I might be a bit more organized.
Anyway... Have a good day. Hope John's much better, too.
